The Canada Goose
The Canada goose is a beautiful bird to behold found throughout
North America from northern Alaska to the Southern Gulf Coast and even into Mexico, depending upon the season of the year.
The Canada goose tends to be monogamous and mate for life. Canada geese are migratory and often travel in groups also
known as a "flock" or "gaggle" of geese. The

Relocation And Goose Control Services
The Canada goose can certainly be fun to watch - but wow - what a slippery, nasty mess they can make! They can
eat all your grass and turn your yard into an unsightly health and safety hazard
if allowed to take control of your surrounding environment.
If you're in Oklahoma and tired of geese eating all your grass and turning your yard into an unsightly

Please keep in mind, when it comes to the Canada goose, time is of the essence regarding removal and egg addling.
For example, in Oklahoma we can only relocate geese and do egg addling from March 11th - August 30th.
Outside that particular timeframe, we have to use exclusion, deterrents, habitat modification and harassment
methods to eliminate your urban lawn cow dilemmas.
If you would like to retain the few geese you currently have, but
do not want more hatching, we can assist you with that as well.
Many think that simply destroying the eggs will control the population, but this is
ineffective as they will just lay more. We utilize a humane
procedure called "egg addling" to retain your desired number of geese and to prevent the
unwelcome, annual young additions to the flock.
We can also help you with the relocation of your Canada goose flock, and can even relocate over 300 geese at one time.
Typically, we do not
think that relocation is the most humane method to use to manage wildlife control problems.
However, the Canada goose is the exception to our rule in regards to relocating wildlife. This is because
geese usually handle relocation well and a
resident Canada goose has a much better chance at surviving in a new environment than, for example, a red squirrel.

Rescuing The Goose Shot By An Arrow
After reading about a goose found in a suburban Tulsa neighborhood with an arrow shot through it's chest,
the local Skunk Whisperer® team sprung into action. Previous attempts by others to catch the injured bird had
been unsuccessful but after some patient pursuit by Stormy Cole, Ned and Betsey Bruha, the goose was caught and
gently transported to a wildlife rehabber, thankfully it's expected to live to enjoy another day on the pond.
