Results from a three year study regarding squirrel relocation
mortality rates, as published in 2004 by the Universities Federation For Animal Welfare. The squirrels were
captured in suburban environments and relocated to a large forest.
Many wildlife companies advertise trapping and relocation as a humane, even "green"
method, when in fact the animals are often harmed - either during the trapping process or later after
relocation has occurred.
The Skunk Whisperer does not advocate the practice of trapping and relocation.
