Humane wildlife control and prevention, done right the first time.

Squirrel Problems Specific To Different Tulsa Area Communities
One of the interesting things about potential squirrel problems in the Tulsa region is the fact
that the types of squirrels presenting the challenge can vary greatly from one area to another, with
one Tulsa neighborhood located next to another experiencing a completely different
squirrel control issue than it's nearby neighbor.

For instance, the Red Squirrel is a
common issue in Tulsa attics and is also found throughout Broken Arrow, Owasso, Bixby, Jenks and
Sapulpa. However, in the Sand Springs region the more aggressive and territorial Gray Squirrel
dominates. Another type of nuisance wildlife commonly taking advantage of Tulsa's
lush urban forest environment is the seldom "seen" Flying Squirrel, also called a Sugar Glider.
Their presence is a surprise to some because flying squirrels are nocturnal and spotting them is not a typical occurrence.
They are most common in South Tulsa around Southern Hills but can also be found
around the Gilcrease Hills and North Tulsa areas too.
But not to worry, critter damage control, prevention, wildlife removal and other squirrel control functions are an
every day task well mastered by the skillful professionals at the Tulsa based
The Skunk Whisperer, Inc. wildlife control company. Our humane team travels all
over Northeastern Oklahoma and
beyond to help homeowners with their wildlife problems from Tulsa to Okmulgee to Grand Lake and everywhere in between.
Tulsa Squirrel Control & Removal Services The Skunk Whisperer Way
For the most part, squirrels are like furry little chain saws that will chew on your siding and electrical wires just for fun.
They chew to mark their territory and to file down their incisor teeth, similar to what beavers do as well.
And they just adore comfy attics.
They are particularly attracted to the cozy insulation and inviting lumber atop your home,

shelter and nesting materials too. But you do not want
squirrels in your attic. These annoying critters
can drive you to shooting holes in your ceiling with a shotgun.
They can also leave feces and damage in their wake. The scent they leave behind can
attract other nusiance wildlife too, including the even more destructive raccoon.
Many wildlife control companies suggest trapping, removing and relocating your squirrels - often advertising this as a
humane method. In the Tulsa area they will usually charge you around $165 to lay a trap and often another $65
for each squirrel they carry off. The Skunk Whisperer does not advocate the use of trap and relocate methods,
as studies have shown these practices
are not necessarily humane or in the squirrel's best interest.
In addition, trapping alone without the proper home repairs is simply

fix that will do little to prevent reoccurring squirrel problems in the future.
As a matter of fact most squirrels chew right through a hole patched with simply a board or piece of metal.
But fortunately squirrel problems can be prevented with proper control and prevention efforts.
The Skunk Whisperer will know what to do.
